Yungblud Rocks Ozzy Osbourne’s Necklace at 2025 VMAs!
Yungblud Honors Ozzy Osbourne with a Sentimental Tribute
The musician and style icon recently paid homage to Ozzy Osbourne during the 2025 VMAs red carpet by sporting a bold, shirtless look paired with a leather jacket and low-rise pants.
What made his outfit especially meaningful was the jewelry — a gold cross necklace given to him by the late Black Sabbath frontman. Osbourne had handed Yungblud the necklace in 2022 while filming the music video for his hit song “The Funeral,” establishing a close mentorship and friendship.
Following Osbourne’s passing at age 76 this July, Yungblud shared a heartfelt tribute on Instagram, describing the cross as “the most precious thing I own.”
In addition to his stylish appearance, Yungblud expressed his admiration for Osbourne, who had previously gifted him the necklace, and announced plans to perform Black Sabbath’s “Changes” at every show for the rest of his life in memory of the legendary rock star.
Yungblud, whose real name is Dominic Harrison, will join fellow artists Nuno Bettencourt, Steven Tyler, and Joe Perry of Aerosmith for a tribute performance at New York’s USB Arena. The young artist promises a classic rock performance in honor of Ozzy, expressing it as “good ‘ol rock and roll in the name of the king.”
