Upcoming Return of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”

There is buzz that “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” (RHONJ) may come back sooner than expected, as hinted by star Danielle Cabral.

While attending the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards in New York, Cabral shared that producers are actively assembling the new season, promising that fans won’t be disappointed. She indicated that the show’s return is likely to happen faster than anticipated, with a hope for holiday releases around Christmas and Halloween.

While she did not specify an exact premiere date, Cabral expressed confidence that the season will arrive sooner than many think, saying, “It’s going to happen a lot faster than you expect, and I hope it’s back for the holidays.” She emphasized that the industry trend involves lengthy waits that suddenly end with quick turnarounds.

However, Cabral clarified that she did not officially confirm her participation, stating, “I said no such thing,” when asked about her return. She also shared enthusiasm for the new cast faces, noting, “I’m excited about some new arrivals, and I think it’s about time. It’s going to be a great season.”

Following the Season 14 finale and a non-traditional reunion aired in August 2024, filming was put on pause with plans that it might not resume until 2025. Recently, cameras reportedly started rolling again with some familiar faces, though not all from the previous season.

Test filming has begun to introduce new cast members, with reports suggesting that key players like Margaret Josephs, Dolores Catania, and Melissa Gorga participated in mid-August. Not all previous cast members, such as Teresa Giudice, Jackie Goldschneider, and Jen Fessler, tested for the new season but remain in consideration, whereas Jennifer Aydin and Rachel Fuda were not mentioned.

This process of test-filming enables producers to evaluate how new and current cast members interact before filming officially starts. Fans can look forward to an exciting new chapter featuring fresh faces and ongoing drama.
