Jacob Elordi Clashes with Festival Official at Venice Premiere of “Frankenstein”

During the world premiere of his upcoming film, Frankenstein, Jacob Elordi was involved in a tense exchange with a Venice Film Festival official. Eyewitness footage captured the heated moment on Saturday, which quickly circulated on social media.

In the video, Elordi can be seen speaking with a man identified by witnesses as a festival bodyguard, before engaging with fans. The actor, dressed in a classic black suit and bowtie, then announced, “I’m going to take a picture right here,” to festival staff. After posing for photos, he turned to the official and firmly stated, “Don’t ever tell me what to do.”

Despite the confrontation, witnesses described Elordi as friendly and approachable, noting that he took photos with many attendees and appeared warm towards fans. An onlooker commented, “He is so sexy and nice.”

This event marked Elordi’s first public appearance since his recent breakup from Olivia Jade Giannulli. Photos from the event depict him walking the red carpet with a sharp, traditional look and matching black shoes. The screening of Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein was also notable for the actor’s emotional response; he was visibly moved to tears during the film’s standing ovation, which lasted 13 minutes—the longest of the festival so far.

After the applause, a video showed Elordi hugging director Guillermo del Toro and co-star Mia Goth, before bowing in gratitude. His emotional reaction and the extended ovation underscored the film’s impact and his own successful red carpet debut since the breakup.
