MGK Sparks Concern with Rare Eating Habits
Machine Gun Kelly’s Controversial Diet Raises Concerns
Fans are expressing worry after a video revealed the musician’s minimal eating habits. During a casual interview, MGK, 35, admitted, “I don’t really eat. I just do water a lot.” When asked if he fasts, he confirmed with a head nod.
He explained that he rarely eats, usually only a couple of times weekly, preferring meals like bone broth with kimchi and sauerkraut for probiotics. “Because during water fasts, it kills all the good bacteria, so I have to replenish them,” MGK said.
The singer and actor, known for his work in rock, rap, and pop, mentioned that he sometimes drinks celery juice and coconut water. He also occasionally cooks his fermented foods in nutrient-rich bone broth, made from simmering animal bones and tissues. “I’ll drink celery juice sometimes, yeah,” he added.
He disclosed that his diet also includes coffee and cigarettes, which he considers staples. This revelation sparked concern online, with many commenters suggesting his eating habits resemble symptoms of anorexia or malnutrition.
MGK is a father to a 16-year-old daughter, Casie, with Emma Cannon, and a four-month-old daughter, Saga, with Megan Fox. His representatives have not responded to requests for comment.
Nutrition experts warn that such restrictive eating patterns can be dangerous. If you or someone you know is struggling with an eating disorder, resources are available through the National Eating Disorders Association.
