Astronomer CEO Andy Byron and HR Chief Kristin Cabot Deactivate LinkedIn After Coldplay Kiss Cam Revealed

CEO and HR Chief Leave LinkedIn Amid Publicized Coldplay Concert Incident

Andy Byron, the CEO of Astronomer, and Kristin Cabot, the company’s head of human resources, have deleted their profiles on LinkedIn following a viral incident during a Coldplay concert in Boston. Witnesses captured a moment where both were visibly uncomfortable on the event’s “kiss cam,” which drew widespread attention.

In a circulating video, frontman Chris Martin pointed out Byron and Cabot, showing Byron with his arms around Cabot, prompting the duo to quickly hide from the camera. Byron appeared to comment, “F–king hell, it’s me,” while Cabot seemed to describe the situation as “awkward.” Martin humorously speculated, “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” to amused and shocked concertgoers.

The incident quickly made headlines after a spectator shared the clip, which she said she posted because she found their reaction “an interesting response” and initially had no idea who they were. The pair was later identified as the CEO and director of people at Astronomer. The woman behind the footage revealed she found the moment noteworthy due to their genuine reactions.

At the time, Byron reacted with surprise, saying, “F–king hell, it’s me,” while Cabot called the scene “awkward.” Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, commented during the show, “Hope we didn’t do something bad,” before resuming the concert.

The incident has also brought attention to their personal lives. Byron is married to Megan Kerrigan Byron (who has since deleted her social media accounts), while Cabot is divorced. The woman who shared the video said she was unaware of their identities when she posted it.

Family details remain private, but the public nature of the viral clip has sparked conversations about personal boundaries and professional conduct. Byron has not issued a formal response to the scandal.
