Mel B Ties the Knot in London

The former Spice Girl, Melanie Brown, known as “Scary Spice,” married hairstylist Rory McPhee in a beautiful ceremony in London. The event took place in the historic Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral, creating an intimate and romantic atmosphere.

Mel B wore a custom ivory gown by Josephine Scott featuring a pearl-encrusted neckline. She shared that the wedding was a personal dream, expressing her excitement about her special day.

Following the ceremony, the bride changed into a Justin Alexander design for a star-studded celebration at the Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard. Among the guests was fellow Spice Girl Emma Bunton, the only other member of the iconic group present. Notably absent were Victoria Beckham, Melanie C, and Geri Halliwell.

Other celebrities who attended included Cara Delevingne, comedian Katherine Ryan, and Daisy Lowe, the daughter of Gavin Rossdale. Mel B’s daughters, Phoenix, Angel, and Madison, served as her bridesmaids, making the day even more meaningful for her family.

The couple had announced their engagement in October 2022 after three years of dating. Rory McPhee reportedly met Mel B through her cousin Christian Cooke, a friend of McPhee. The singer reminisced about her romantic proposal at Cliveden, describing it as an unforgettable experience.

Mel B’s previous marriages include a 1998-2000 marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and a notable relationship with Stephen Belafonte from 2007 to 2018, which ended amid allegations of abuse. Belafonte has denied these claims, maintaining his innocence.
