Michelle Williams Reveals Sex of Fourth Baby in Rare Family Interview
Michelle Williams Welcomes Her Fourth Child
Michelle Williams has announced the arrival of her fourth child, sharing her excitement about her lively family life. She revealed that she and her husband, Thomas Kail, welcomed a baby girl via surrogate, four months after their growing family was first reported.
Williams expressed gratitude towards her surrogate, Christine, describing her as her “miracle” and thanking her publicly: “The miracle of our little girl is thanks to Christine. Maybe you’re watching out there. Thank you, Christine.”
Juggling a busy household with three children under five, Williams humorously joked about her parenting duties, saying she’s “the adult” and everything is “under control.” She added that balancing work and family can be challenging but rewarding.
The actress, 44, is already a mother to her 19-year-old daughter Matilda, whom she shares with Heath Ledger. She reflected on her parenting style, acknowledging her mistakes and emphasizing openness with her daughter, saying they have “no shame, no blame” in their relationship. Her approach includes teaching her daughter to apologize and to accept life’s ups and downs gracefully.
Williams also shared her self-care hack, which involves visiting government offices during quieter hours, bringing a nail file and a to-do list to pass the time productively while waiting.
Previously, Williams described her experience of balancing motherhood and her acting career, emphasizing the importance of support from women in her life. Despite her busy schedule, she notes her heart belongs to her children and she strives to “have both” her family and her career.
Williams was married to musician Phil Elverum from 2018 to 2019, and she continues to embrace her evolving family life. She currently shares her children with Kail, with whom she also has a younger child whose details remain private.
