Haaland Turns Geography Teacher with a £9,500 Birkin Bag After Norway Duty!
Erling Haaland Flies to Marbella with a £9,500 Birkin Bag Amid Break from Norway Duty
Erling Haaland, the Manchester City striker, shared a quirky Instagram post that amused fans. The 25-year-old, currently on a break from international football, has been enjoying some leisure time in Marbella, Spain, after his recent international performance.
Haaland recently scored a hat-trick for Norway against Israel, helping secure their qualification for next year’s World Cup. However, he and several teammates were released from duty for an upcoming friendly against New Zealand, as confirmed by Norway’s coach, Stale Solbakken.
Instead of returning to Manchester, Haaland opted for a sunny getaway, and Norwegian media spotted him boarding a private jet heading to the Spanish resort.
Haaland posed with a flat cap and carried a £9,500 Hermès Birkin bag during his trip.
In a recent Instagram story, Haaland posted photos captioned “camos,” showing him dressed in green slacks, a matching vest, shirt, and flat-cap, with a designer Hermès Hac 40 bag. The post drew playful comments, including from ex-teammate Jack Grealish, who called him “the best guy in the world” with multiple laughing emojis.
Haaland’s affinity for luxury accessories is not new. Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi have been seen with similar Birkin bags, which can retail for tens of thousands of pounds. Messi was photographed last month arriving at training with a £50,000 Hermès duffel, while Arsenal’s Declan Rice also often carries a Birkin.
Back on the pitch, Haaland continues to impress, having scored 12 goals in nine appearances for Manchester City this season. City’s upcoming schedule includes seven matches over the next three weeks, with fixtures against Everton, Villareal in the Champions League, and Aston Villa.
