Lori Loughlin & Mossimo Giannulli: No Chance of Reconciliation
Divorce Confirmed Between Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli After Nearly 28 Years
The “Full House” actress, 61, and fashion designer Mossimo Giannulli, 62, have officially separated after almost three decades of marriage. A representative confirmed that the couple has been living apart, though no legal divorce proceedings are currently underway.
Insiders reveal that Lori initiated the breakup, believing that taking a break might benefit their relationship. However, they are no longer on the same page and are heading toward divorce. Giannulli has reportedly been dating since the split, while Loughlin has remained single.
The couple was seen dining together at The Bird Streets Club in West Hollywood shortly before news of their separation broke. At one point, Lori was spotted sharing an affectionate moment with her co-star from “A Christmas Blessing” as they waited at the valet. Meanwhile, Giannulli was seen with stylist Hannah Harrison after the announcement, but she quickly clarified they are just friends, not dating, and had no prior meeting related to the split.
Throughout their marriage, Lori and Mossimo had two daughters: Isabella Rose, 27, and Olivia Jade, 26. Both daughters have expressed support for their parents, emphasizing that they “aren’t taking sides” and just want everyone to be happy. A source stated, “They love their parents and want to keep things peaceful, focusing on staying close as a family.”
The couple faced major controversy in 2019 when involved in the college admissions scandal, paying $500,000 to secure their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California as rowing recruits— despite neither being athletes. Lori served two months in a California federal prison, while Mossimo completed a five-month sentence in April 2021.
Overall, the separation marks a new chapter for the longtime couple, while their daughters hope for a peaceful future for their family.
