Royal Family Saddened by Prince Harry’s Claims of Courtier Sabotage Against King Charles
Prince Harry’s Relationship with King Charles III Faces New Challenges
The path to reconciliation between Prince Harry and his father, King Charles III, has encountered another obstacle.
The royal family is reportedly “saddened and perplexed” by Harry’s recent claims that internal sources are “sabotaging” his efforts to mend his relationship with the King.
A source close to the royal household explained that efforts have been ongoing behind the scenes to nurture a delicate but important family bond. Friends of Charles have expressed disappointment over Harry’s assertions.
Both Harry’s representatives and the palace did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
Harry’s statement followed a report that described his September 10 visit to the UK — his first in over a year — as “particularly formal,” leaving him feeling more like an “official visitor” rather than a close family member.
Harry’s spokesperson dismissed reports that portrayed the meeting negatively, stating, “The quotes attributed to him are pure invention…” and confirming he had brought a framed photo of his children, Archie and Lilibet, which he gifted to his father, though the photo did not include Harry and Meghan.
Despite Harry’s efforts, a royal insider noted that King Charles is firm in his stance that Harry cannot assume a part-time royal role, reiterating the late Queen’s decision for full-time service from members of the royal family.
In response to ongoing speculation, Harry’s spokesperson reaffirmed that his focus remains on his family and his relationship with his father, declining to comment on broader royal issues.
