Iconic country singer Dolly Parton has announced the postponement of her upcoming Las Vegas performances, citing health concerns that require medical procedures.
In an Instagram message, the 79-year-old artist shared that her doctors advised her to undergo a series of treatments, which will prevent her from rehearsing and performing as scheduled. She expressed her desire to be at her best for fans and emphasized her commitment to her work, stating she intends to continue her projects from Nashville while taking time to recover and prepare for future shows.
“I want the fans and public to hear directly from me,” Parton wrote, adding humor about her health check-up and reassurance that her career is not ending. She conveyed her belief that this pause is a sign from a higher power to slow down and recharge for more adventures ahead.
The scheduled debut of her show, “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, was set for December. She also shared a post indicating that the dates have been rescheduled, and she appreciated her fans’ understanding and support.
