Dolly Parton Postpones Las Vegas Residency Due to Health Reasons

Country music icon Dolly Parton has announced the postponement of her upcoming Las Vegas residency, citing health concerns. She shared via Instagram that she needs to undergo a series of medical procedures as advised by her doctors.

“I want the fans and the public to hear directly from me that, unfortunately, I will need to postpone my upcoming Las Vegas concerts,” Parton explained. “I have been dealing with some health challenges, and my doctors have recommended a few procedures.”

She added that it’s time for her “100,000-mile check-up,” humorously noting it’s not at her usual plastic surgeon. She emphasized that the postponement means she won’t be able to rehearse or prepare the show she wants to deliver, expressing her desire to be at her best for her fans, who she appreciates deeply.

Despite the setback, Parton assured fans she will continue working on her projects from Nashville and reassured them that she isn’t quitting. She believes that this pause is necessary for her to be ready for future adventures with her audience.

Her scheduled residency, titled “Dolly: Live in Las Vegas,” was set to begin in December at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. She previously expressed excitement about returning to Vegas, saying, “I haven’t worked there in years, and I love singing on that stage. I can’t wait for the shows!”

Parton concluded her message with gratitude and love for her fans, thanking them for their understanding during her recovery period.
