Brooklyn IHOP Employee Fatally Stabbed in Late-Night Attack

A 67-year-old worker at an IHOP in East New York was fatally stabbed during a violent incident on Friday night. The NYPD reports that Hector Reinoso-Perez was attacked inside the restaurant just before 11:40 p.m., resulting in a fatal wound to his torso.

During the assault, another individual, a 41-year-old man, was also injured but refused medical attention after being slashed in the hand. The attacker, who has not yet been identified, followed Reinoso-Perez into a bathroom before the stabbing and remains at large.

Reinoso-Perez was transported to Brookdale Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the assault and have not made any arrests.
