Just weeks before her post, Ashley filed for divorce from her husband, Dr. Howard Krein, a plastic surgeon, after 13 years of marriage. The news came alongside a photo she shared that appeared to show Krein holding hands with another woman, which she captioned, “My husband and his girlfriend holding hands.”
The couple had married in Greenville, Delaware, in 2012, just two years after he was introduced to Ashley by her late brother, Beau Biden.
Amid this personal upheaval, Ashley also revealed her father’s health crisis. President Joe Biden, 82, was diagnosed with aggressive stage 4 prostate cancer that has metastasized to his bones. A recent medical statement confirmed the diagnosis, which was discovered during a routine examination as he experienced worsening urinary symptoms. Despite the aggressive nature of the disease, the cancer is hormone-sensitive, allowing for effective treatment plans. The president and his family are currently exploring options with his physicians.
