PSG Star Randal Kolo Muani to Join Premier League on Loan

Tottenham Approves Loan Move for Randal Kolo Muani from PSG

Tottenham is nearing the completion of a season-long loan agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for forward Randal Kolo Muani. The move aims to strengthen Tottenham’s attacking options and provide cover for injured striker Dominic Solanke.

Kolo Muani, who previously spent time on loan at Juventus where he scored eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances, is considered a versatile striker. He can operate as a central forward, compete in the air, or play off the flanks. The 24-year-old also brings valuable experience, having played in the UEFA Champions League with PSG and reaching the German Cup final with Eintracht Frankfurt. He has earned 31 caps and scored nine goals for France.

Totteham initially tried to sign Kolo Muani in January when he was loaned to Juventus, but the deal was abandoned due to cost concerns and the obligation to buy after another year on loan. Instead, Juventus signed Belgium international Lois Openda from Leipzig. Tottenham will now negotiate a one-season loan without options or obligations to purchase.

Solanke’s ongoing ankle injury has kept him out of recent matches, but Tottenham hopes rest and treatment will allow him to return soon, potentially for the upcoming game against West Ham.

Muani’s signing also expands Thomas Frank’s attacking options. He is quick, mobile, proficient in the air, and capable of playing centrally or on the wing. His addition adds experience, having played in multiple top European competitions.

Meanwhile, Tottenham is finalizing other transfers, including the permanent move of Bryan Gil to Girona for around £8.6 million. Several players, such as Yves Bissouma and Manor Solomon, are also expected to leave as Tottenham manages its squad ahead of the transfer deadline.
