Hunter Biden dismisses Melania Trump’s $1B defamation threat with a bold: ‘F- that’
Hunter Biden Dismisses Threat to Sue Melania Trump Over Epstein Allegations
Hunter Biden dismissed a $1 billion defamation lawsuit threat from former First Lady Melania Trump, vowing not to retract his comments linking her to Jeffrey Epstein. During an interview on a YouTube show, Biden scoffed at the lawsuit, stating, “F–k that. That’s not going to happen,” with a confident grin.
Melania Trump’s team had warned Biden after he claimed that Epstein introduced her to her husband, Donald Trump. They also issued similar warnings to others who circulated related allegations, leading to the retraction of a diabolical article by The Daily Beast last month. A legal demand letter outlined that failure to apologize and retract could result in further legal action to address the harm caused.
In the interview, Biden mentioned that he based his statements on reports from multiple sources, including author Michael Wolff and the New York Times. He claimed Epstein once said he was the one who introduced Donald Trump to Melania, referencing reports he believed to be credible.
Biden openly challenged the Trumps, expressing his willingness to testify under oath about Epstein’s connections. “If they want to do a deposition to clarify the relationship, I’m happy to give them the platform,” he said, dismissing their intimidation tactics. Both Donald and Melania Trump have previously stated they met in 1998 at a fashion industry party in New York.
Melania’s memoir recounts how she was initially drawn to Donald Trump’s charismatic presence during that meeting. Meanwhile, her attorney sharply criticized Wolff as a “serial fabulist,” accusing Hunter Biden of exaggerating claims for attention. The attorney demanded a retraction and apology from Hunter by August 7, 2025, emphasizing the serious reputational and financial damages posed by these false allegations.
