Actress Cheryl Hines has addressed her marriage to Robert F. Kennedy Jr., nearly a year after allegations surrounding Kennedy’s sexting scandal with journalist Olivia Nuzzi surfaced. While she refrained from commenting directly on the affair, she emphasized that open communication and mutual trust are the foundation of their relationship.

Despite Kennedy’s recent controversies, including an alleged sexting incident with Nuzzi reported last September, Hines chose to remain silent initially. Nuzzi confirmed that while there was no physical relationship, their communications had become personal, involving sexting that suggested intimacy.

Nonetheless, they continue to stand together, with Hines having issued a strict ultimatum for Kennedy to relocate from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., where he serves as head of the Department of Health and Human Services. She expressed concerns over trust and the temptations of Kennedy’s new high-profile role, insisting he move to maintain their relationship.

While Kennedy’s scandal fueled speculation of divorce, the two remain married, though Hines is cautious about her trust in him while he holds a prominent political position. An insider revealed Hines’s concern over Kennedy’s interactions with women in D.C., leading her to give an ultimatum: move her or face separation.
