Jennifer Lopez Turns Away From Chanel Store in Istanbul

The superstar was out shopping at Istanbul’s upscale Istinye Park mall when she approached a Chanel boutique. However, her visit took an unexpected turn when a security guard inside refused her entry.

Clad in a pink set with matching sunglasses, Lopez responded calmly with, “OK, no problem,” and walked away without any visible reaction. The store later extended an invitation for her to come back, but she declined the offer.

Instead of shopping at Chanel, Lopez chose to spend her time and a reported tens of thousands of dollars at nearby luxury stores like Celine and Beymen. Despite this small setback, she continued her trip and later celebrated her birthday in Turkey the day after her Istanbul appearance. She shared a series of joyful birthday posts on social media, including a makeup-free selfie and videos of her dancing, singing, and relaxing in a hotel.

Jennifer Lopez is currently on her “Up All Night” summer tour, which kicked off on July 8 in Vigo, Spain, and is scheduled to conclude in Almaty, Kazakhstan, on August 10. She has gleefully shared her excitement for nearly every concert but has yet to remark publicly on her Istanbul experience.
