Jack Brinkley-Cook’s Rove Sues Eva Longoria’s Tequila Brand

Eva Longoria’s Casa Del Sol Tequila Faces $2 Million Lawsuit Over Unpaid Advertising

The tequila brand co-founded by Eva Longoria is being sued for failing to pay a significant advertising bill. The plaintiff, Rove, a premium ride-sharing company, claims Casa Del Sol breached a multi-year agreement to advertise on Rove’s vehicles in upscale locations like the Hamptons, Aspen, and Palm Beach.

The lawsuit alleges that despite assurances of payment, Casa Del Sol not only defaulted on the $2 million owed but also continued lavish promotional activities. Rove reports incurring substantial expenses—including shipping and preparing vehicles, hiring staff, and deploying technical infrastructure—that went uncompensated. The company claims that Casa Del Sol’s promotional efforts included hosting high-profile events and parties with celebrity guests and influencers, notably renting a $25 million beachfront mansion in the Hamptons in 2022 and organizing events during Art Basel Miami.

Important figures backing Casa Del Sol include tennis stars Serena Williams and Garbiñe Muguruza, fashion designer Kathy Hilton, NBA player Kyle Kuzma, and model Brooks Nader. The brand is also known for its high-profile parties in various hotspots, attracting celebrities such as Brooks Nader, Alix Earle, Paris Jackson, and influencer Danielle Bernstein.

The lawsuit states that Casa Del Sol stopped the advertising campaigns in early 2024 after falling behind on payments for the months of November and December 2023, along with an overdue installment due at the start of 2024. As a result, Rove suspended operations related to the campaign.

Background and Implications
