A fresh image of Bryan Kohberger shows him in his characteristic blank stare, with a slight grin, captured a day after he was sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of four University of Idaho students. Wearing the same orange inmate uniform, Kohberger appears notably more gaunt and exhibits dilated pupils, suggesting significant weight loss since his previous arrest.

In the recent mug shot, his face is emotionless, reminiscent of the stoic expression he maintained during the victim impact statements at his sentencing. His prior mugshots reveal that he was fuller and clean-shaven at the time of his arrest in December 2022, whereas earlier images depict him with a beard.
