Justin Bieber & Scooter Braun’s Multi-Million Dollar Debt Settlement Secrets Revealed

Justin Bieber’s $31.5 Million Debt and Recent Developments

Justin Bieber facing financial challenges

Justin Bieber’s substantial debt, estimated at $31.5 million, was primarily covered with the assistance of his wife, Hailey Bieber. According to reports, Bieber’s settlement allowed him to defer repayment until May, when a significant contract between Rhode and elf Beauty was finalized, enabling Hailey to help settle his debts.

Sources close to TMZ revealed a clause in Bieber’s debt repayment agreement with Scooter Braun. This clause permits him to delay repayment until Hailey completes her billion-dollar contract. The debts comprise mostly $26 million paid through Hybe to AEG after Bieber canceled his Justice tour, along with an $11 million commission owed to Scooter—though Bieber’s former manager waived an additional $8 million owed in commissions.

Ultimately, Bieber was only required to pay approximately $31.5 million, covering $26 million and half of the $11 million royalties.

Justin Bieber with his debts

Despite the debt, Bieber relies heavily on the agreement with Rhode and elf Beauty, as he currently has no liquid assets to settle his debts outright. The singer, also an investor, is expected to earn around $50 million from various ventures, including selling shares, which would be enough to cover his obligations.

In addition to resolving his debts, Bieber regained the copyrights to many of his hit songs. Previously, he sold the rights to 300 songs to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for $200 million amid financial difficulties following his canceled Justice tour due to health issues.

Scooter Braun publicly stated that Bieber wants to prove he can succeed independently, especially as he matures. Despite having a large sum of money in hand, Bieber’s expenditures on real estate, private travel, and management fees have complicated his financial situation.
