Jessica Simpson Experiences Wardrobe Malfunction During “Today” Performance

During her recent appearance on the show, Jessica Simpson faced a wardrobe slip-up when her corset-style dress unexpectedly revealed her bra while performing live from Rockefeller Plaza in New York City.

Simpson was dressed in a pale pink, lace-up dress decorated with feathers on the skirt. Unfortunately, the top left section of her dress slipped down, exposing her blush-colored lingerie. The singer’s long, wavy blonde hair and a metallic fringe jacket saved her modesty, covering up the accidental reveal. She completed her look with an oversized cross necklace and chunky silver rings.

Despite the accidental moment, her performance was notably smoother compared to her last stage appearance earlier this year on “American Idol,” which many critics deemed a “train wreck.” Simpson, who wore a plunging silver metallic maxi dress for that event, later addressed the backlash, confessing to feeling extremely nervous. She revealed she was so anxious she resorted to hairspray on her feet to keep still, humorously admitting, “My feet were sweating.”

In March, Simpson made her musical comeback after a 15-year break, releasing an EP titled “Nashville Canyon, Part 1.” A second part is expected to be released on September 5.
