Inside Drake’s $185M Private Jet Upgrade
Drake Showcases Upgraded Private Jet
Hip-hop superstar Drake recently revealed a tour of his newly upgraded $185 million private jet, highlighting its advanced features, including a custom gambling setup.
“Getting my plane was one of the most surreal moments of my life,” Drake shared in an Instagram video. He explained that his initial experience was in a hangar, emphasizing how special the moment was for him.
The aircraft seats 30 passengers and features a distinctive sky blue and white cloud-themed exterior, with a white owl logo representing his OVO brand, along with the phrases “AIR DRAKE” and a nod to his 2015 mixtape, “If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.”
Inside, Drake gave followers a detailed look at his luxurious suite, which includes a spacious bedroom with a flat-screen TV, a king-sized bed, and mirrored walls. He also pointed out the main lounge decorated with custom pillows on faux fur seats and a gambling station from Stake.
The jet boasts additional amenities like a movie screening area and three bedrooms for privacy. Drake updated the interior lighting from “bold pink” to a warmer, more plush tone, enhancing its luxurious feel.
Among the highlights is a specially designed paint job created by the late Virgil Abloh, the iconic designer who passed away in 2021. The aircraft can comfortably accommodate up to 30 guests and features a custom sky-blue and cloud motif, as well as the brand’s owl emblem.
Fans praised Drake’s opulent jet, with comments joking about living inside the plane or comparing it to a mobile mansion. The jet was gifted to the rapper in 2019 through a partnership with Cargojet, a Canadian logistics company. Drake’s association with Cargojet reflects a shared Canadian success story, with the partnership marked by mutual pride and growth.
This exclusive inside look underscores Drake’s love for luxury and his ability to blend his personal brand with his passion for lavish lifestyles.
