Denise Richards’ Ex-Husband Files Police Report After Fight
Estranged Wife Denies Abuse Amidst Divorce Fight
The divorce between actress Denise Richards and her husband Aaron Phypers has taken a troubling turn, with police now involved following a heated dispute.
Over the weekend, Aaron was seen entering a Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department station in Calabasas, seemingly to report an incident. Law enforcement sources confirmed that Aaron provided details about a recent altercation, and a police report was filed.
He has reportedly filed a criminal complaint citing vandalism, theft, and assault stemming from a fight on July 4th. Aaron claims that Denise damaged his cell phone during the altercation, allegedly because it contained texts and photos suggesting her infidelity.
In interviews, Aaron has accused Denise of cheating, revealing he discovered messages between her and another man stored on his device. He also claimed that on July 4th, he found his phone destroyed, with Denise supposedly smashing it to destroy evidence of her affair.
Denise has countered that the conflict began when Aaron verbally abused her and demanded access to her phone. She alleges that during the dispute, Aaron became physically aggressive, hitting and scratching her when he couldn’t find his device.
The couple officially filed for divorce on July 7, with Aaron citing July 4th as the separation date. Denise has since obtained a temporary restraining order against him, accusing him of domestic abuse, which he denies.
Ongoing Turmoil
The situation remains contentious, with both sides presenting conflicting accounts of the events. The involvement of law enforcement underscores the severity of their recent disputes, marking a tumultuous chapter in their separation.
