Jerry O’Connell & Rebecca Romijn’s 18-Year Marriage Surprise!
Celebrity Couple Shares Surprising Insights into Their Financial and Parenting Styles
Actors Jerry O’Connell and Rebecca Romijn have opened up about their financial arrangements, revealing that they maintain separate bank accounts despite being married for 18 years. Romijn explained that their financial philosophy involves keeping their money entirely separate, aside from a joint account designated for family expenses.
“We keep our finances separate,” Romijn shared during an interview. “However, we contribute to a shared family fund quarterly, with the amount depending on who’s working more at the time.” O’Connell added, “Sometimes we limit how much we put into that account. The contributions are adapted based on each other’s work schedules.”
Discussing their approach to parenting, Romijn mentioned that they decided one of them would always stay home with their twin daughters, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip, both 16, to ensure they are raised solely by them. She emphasized, “No one else will ever raise them but us.”
Romijn added that their financial contributions to their daughters’ upbringing are flexible, with the couple taking turns depending on their work commitments. She also reflected on their decision to co-parent by always having one parent at home with their kids, saying, “We truly tag-team with work to make sure our children are never left in others’ care.”
