During the ESPYs 2025 event, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn experienced a wardrobe mishap on the red carpet. Fortunately, her younger sister Karin Kildow was nearby and quickly helped her address the issue.

Vonn was wearing a daring strapless gown in a rich eggplant hue from Elisabetta Franchi’s fall 2025 collection. The dress featured a high slit reaching her midriff and a deliberately exposed thong strap. Amid photos at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, a strong gust of wind caused her dress to open further, revealing more than she intended, including a glimpse of her G-string.

Vonn managed to regain composure and impressed on the red carpet with her radiant makeup and styled hair worn in a deep side part. She complemented her look with chunky statement earrings from David Webb Jewelry, plum-colored platform heels, and a black clutch.

For the ceremony, she changed into a beaded silver fringe gown featuring a see-through skirt, also by Elisabetta Franchi, elevating her glamorous appearance. Despite the wardrobe incident, Vonn’s confidence and elegance shone through.
