Justin Bieber & Hailey Rhode Deal Nets Multimillion Dollar Payout to Scooter Braun
Justin Bieber Will Depend on Wife Hailey’s Deal to Cover $31 Million Settlement
Justin Bieber is reportedly relying on his wife, Hailey Bieber, to fund his $31 million settlement with former manager Scooter Braun. A source indicates that Bieber will not have to pay Braun until Hailey’s billion-dollar Rhode deal with e.l.f. Cosmetics is finalized and the money is in the bank.
The agreement stipulates that Braun will not receive any funds until Hailey’s deal closes. Meanwhile, Braun also paid Bieber’s $26 million debt to AEG, which arose from Justin’s canceled 2022 “Justice” tour due to Ramsay Hunt syndrome causing facial paralysis. The tour cancellation led to demands for repayment of a $26 million loan from the backing company.
Justin’s financial issues have come to light recently, including over $11 million owed in unpaid commissions to Braun, a debt Bieber will pay only halves of. The funds for Bieber’s settlement are reportedly sourced from Hailey’s recent collaboration, a deal valued at over a billion dollars with e.l.f. Beauty, finalized in May.
Before the announcement, it was noted that Hailey was the main breadwinner, with insiders revealing she sold her Rhode Beauty company and was earning significant income, surpassing Justin in financial influence. She shared her decision to sell the business via Instagram, expressing her aspirations for growth.
Justin, who has an estimated net worth of around $300 million after selling his music catalog for $200 million, has been spending beyond his means, with reports suggesting he splurged at events like Coachella. There are even claims that he considered suing his financial managers for misappropriating funds, though Justin’s representatives deny any financial distress, asserting the reports are unfounded.
Sources indicate Justin’s reckless spending habits and the influence of those around him may have contributed to his financial struggles, contrasting with his and Hailey’s recent business successes. Despite these challenges, Justin remains a prominent figure in pop culture, with his financial allegiances shifting towards his wife’s enterprise.
