Christina Brown’s Shocking 27-Year Marriage Confession
Christine Brown Reflects on Her Marriage and Personal Growth
Christine Brown, known from the series “Sister Wives,” recently shared an honest and somewhat uncomfortable confession about her previous marriage to Kody Brown. During a one-on-one interview, she revealed the extent of her dedication to Kody and her frustration with how her life was centered around his needs and desires.
She candidly admitted, “You realize I loved Kody, like, four years ago,” as she prepared for her discussion with host Sukanya “Suki” Krishnan. Reflecting further, Christine confessed, “So much of my life was so focused on him, and it makes me disgusted with myself.” She explained that her ex-husband’s unpredictable presence kept the family in constant suspense, contrasting with her current, more stable marriage to David Woolley, who is always present and dependable.
She also revealed that her previous life was heavily influenced by Kody’s requirements, stating, “We had to change what we were doing to accommodate him. And that’s not OK. That’s making it so our lives are focused on him.” Christine described feeling frustrated and embarrassed about the extent of her previous sacrifices, recognizing how unfair it was for her life to revolve so heavily around Kody.
Throughout her marriage to Kody, which began in 1994, Christine was the third wife and mother to six children: Aspyn, Mykelti, Paedon, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, and Truely. The couple parted ways in 2021, and she remarried David Woolley in 2023.
Her revelations highlight a journey of self-awareness and growth, emphasizing her desire for a more balanced and authentic life away from the constraints of her past marriage.
