Kellie Pickler Shares Lessons from Her Late Husband, Kyle Jacobs
Music artist Kellie Pickler opened up about the valuable lessons her late husband, Kyle Jacobs, taught her during their life together. Six months after Jacobs died by suicide, Pickler reflects on the wisdom she’s chosen to follow, especially during tough times.
One profound lesson from Kyle was to remain still and do nothing in moments of crisis when uncertain about what to do. Pickler explained, “He taught me that sometimes the best thing you can do is just be still.”
Expressing gratitude for the support she has received from family, friends, and fans, she noted that the heartfelt messages and prayers have been a source of comfort through her darkest days.
In honoring Kyle’s memory, Pickler announced an upcoming intimate memorial service scheduled later this year, which she says aligns with what Kyle would have wanted.
Jacobs was found dead at their Tennessee home in February 2023, and his death was later confirmed as a suicide. The couple, who married in 2011, had a well-known partnership, collaborating on songs like “One Last Time” and “Feeling Tonight.”
They often shared moments through public appearances, including numerous award shows and charity events, illustrating a deep connection both personally and professionally.
Her reflections underscore the importance of patience and stillness in facing life’s hardships, a timeless reminder inspired by her beloved husband.
