Shannon Beador Re-Policed Nearly 2 Years After DUI

Shannon Beador Receives Traffic Citation Nearly Two Years After DUI Arrest

Shannon Beador, known for her role on the reality TV series, was recently pulled over and issued a citation in Orange County, California, on May 21. This incident comes almost two years after she was previously arrested for driving under the influence.

According to court records, Beador was fined for using a handheld wireless device while driving. She is scheduled to pay a $20 fee by July 11 and will not incur any points on her driving record since the violation was non-moving.

Beador remains on probation until November 2026. Her representatives have yet to comment publicly on this recent citation. Notably, she had earlier faced more serious charges in September 2023, including a hit-and-run and DUI, after crashing into a house in Newport Beach. She sustained a fractured wrist at the time but fled the scene.

Her attorney previously stated that Beador was “extremely apologetic and remorseful,” accepting full responsibility for her actions. Court records show she is on a three-year probation, required to attend a nine-month alcohol education program, and complete 40 hours of community service.

In a heartfelt moment during the Season 18 premiere of “Real Housewives of Orange County,” Beador candidly addressed her struggles with alcohol, breaking down in tears while apologizing to her children, Sophie, Stella, and Adeline. She expressed regret for her actions and the example she had set, saying, “I realize that driving any distance while impaired is too far.”

Beador has openly discussed her alcohol issues publicly and has taken steps toward recovery, including being seen in August 2024 starting her car with what appeared to be a breathalyzer interlock device, indicating ongoing efforts to prevent future incidents.
