Kelly Osbourne’s Engagement Ring Honors Joan Rivers from Sid Wilson

Kelly Osbourne Engaged at Her Father’s Farewell Concert

Kelly Osbourne received a meaningful engagement ring when her partner, Sid Wilson, proposed during her father Ozzy Osbourne’s legendary Black Sabbath farewell concert.

Osbourne shared a video on her Instagram showing the proposal backstage at Birmingham’s Villa Park, surrounded by friends and family, including her mother Sharon Osbourne. Wilson collaborated with jewelry designer Mouawad on the ring, which is rich with symbolism.

The ring, crafted in 18-karat gold with hexagonal bezel settings mimicking honeycombs, features white and yellow diamonds, citrine accents, and abstract bee shapes made of pear-shaped diamonds. The centerpiece is a sparkling round white diamond. Wilson explained he wanted the ring to reflect Osbourne’s nickname “honeybee,” a term Joan Rivers affectionately used for her—adding a layer of sentimental coincidence to the design.

Wilson, who is the DJ for Slipknot, discussed the ring’s creation with Mouawad’s diamond expert, Pascal Mouawad. He revealed that the design is a tribute to Osbourne’s energetic spirit, likening her to a bee spreading positivity. “It’s blinding! It sparkles! She’s going to love that. It’s more than perfect—a fairy tale,” he expressed delightedly.

The couple, who share a two-year-old son named Sidney Wilson, celebrated their engagement surrounded by loved ones. Wilson affectionately nicknamed Osbourne “honeybee” because of her lively, positive aura, a sentiment now immortalized in the stunning ring.
