Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers Split After Six Years of Marriage

Despite her previous vows to never divorce again, Denise Richards has announced her separation from husband Aaron Phypers. The actress expressed on her Bravo series that she believed she would stay married, but their relationship ended recently.

Richards explained, “It’s not easy being married to me,” during a March episode, to which Phypers responded, “But this is it. I’m done.”

They began dating in 2017 and tied the knot on September 8, 2018. However, Phypers filed for divorce in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences, with their separation date listed as July 4.

The couple shared two daughters, Sami, 21, and Lola, 20. Richards also has an adopted daughter, Eloise, 13. Phypers was previously married to actress Nicollette Sheridan in 2015 but divorced the following year.

The divorce filing includes a request for spousal support, with Phypers claiming their monthly expenses total $105,000. Despite the breakup, Richards shared a Fourth of July bikini photo, captioning it, “Red, white, and a little bit ooh la la,” hinting at her resilience amid the split.
