Meghan Markle Shares Patriotic July 4th Celebrations

Celebrating Independence Day, Meghan Markle showcased how she, Prince Harry, and their children marked the holiday with festive flair. On her Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex posted a short clip of herself preparing a colorful American-themed charcuterie board adorned with edible flowers.

In the video, Meghan, dressed in a blue and white striped shirt reminiscent of her Wimbledon outfit from 2018, assembled a platter featuring blueberries, blackberries, watermelon, strawberries, white cheese, bread, and crackers. She also included a small jar of her homemade jam and finished the presentation with two festive beverages.

The caption over the video read, “Easy Entertaining Happy 4th of July!” with an American flag emoji also included. Markle even used some of her own homemade jam, which a food expert once criticized as “runny.” The clip concluded with the board resting on an outdoor table beside two cheerful drinks.

She named her party treat “Easy Entertaining Happy 4th of July,” and even decorated the board with red, white, and blue fruits, cheese, and crackers, symbolizing the American flag.

Markle further shared a photo of her family enjoying the holiday, highlighting her pride with a caption that included an American flag emoji. Previously, the couple celebrated July 4th by attending local parades and watching fireworks in Montecito, California.

Prince Harry reminisced about their early celebrations, recalling their second date on July 4th, 2016, when he gifted Markle an American-themed present and she rewarded him with cupcakes decorated in red, white, and blue for Independence Day.

Since launching her Instagram presence, Meghan has frequently shared glimpses of her children, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4. Recently, she faced criticism for posting a throwback video of their “Baby Momma Dance” in the delivery room in celebration of Lili’s birthday.
