Bachelor Alum Madi Prewett Reveals Shocking Struggle with Porn & Masturbation Addiction—You Won’t Believe Her Journey!

Madi Prewett Opens Up About Her Past Struggles with Porn and Masturbation

Former star of “The Bachelor,” Madi Prewett, revealed she faced a long battle with addictions to pornography and masturbation. She shared that with faith, a supportive community, and God’s grace, she has been free from these habits for over a decade.

“That was something that enslaved me and marked me for so long,” she reflected during her appearance on the “Stay True” podcast. Despite her love for Jesus, she admitted she struggled to overcome those impulses, feeling trapped by her past behaviors.

Prewett explained her addiction began after exposure to hookup culture media during her middle school years. She recalled feeling curiosity and desire she hadn’t expressed before, which filled her with shame due to her desire to lead a life for Jesus.

Her vulnerability deepened as she recounted an early incident around age 13 when she watched an inappropriate show at a friend’s house, which sparked unfamiliar feelings and desires. These experiences caused her to question her worth and identity, feeling lost in her purpose every time she succumbed to sexual temptation.

She also reflected on her feelings of shame and how she questioned her self-worth and purpose after giving into sexual sin. Despite her love for Jesus, she found herself unable to break free, battling feelings of guilt and confusion about her identity.

Her Journey and Public Life

Prewett rose to fame in 2020 as a finalist on season 24 of “The Bachelor” with Peter Weber. She was close to winning but was part of a season marked by Weber’s decision to call off his proposal to Hannah Ann Sluss, who later married NFL player Jake Funk.

She eventually moved on, marrying Grant Troutt in 2022. The couple welcomed their daughter, Hosanna Rose, in January, marking a new chapter filled with love and family.
