Meanwhile, Trump shifted from discussing a potential negotiated settlement to proclaiming a desire for a permanent end to Iran’s nuclear program—claims contradicted by the modest damage reports from military officials and the International Atomic Energy Agency.

This pattern of dishonesty and manipulation feeds into a dangerous environment where facts are secondary to political narratives.
