Shocking! Illegal Migrant Suspected in Hit-and-Run of ‘Donut Boy’ Brother—May Be Hiding in NYC!
Manhunt Underway for Fugitive in Nashville Hit-and-Run with $10,000 Reward
An illegal immigrant suspected of causing a serious hit-and-run in Nashville may now be hiding in The Bronx, with authorities offering a $10,000 reward for his capture. The suspect, 32-year-old Venezuelan Tony Gebian Lopez Infante, has been on the run since the incident on May 18 that critically injured 21-year-old Zack Carach.
Carach, celebrating his 21st birthday when struck, was hit by a rental Mitsubishi Mirage that fled the scene. He endured weeks of hospitalization and months in a wheelchair following the accident. Law enforcement tracked down the damaged vehicle two days later at a rental lot.
The hit-and-run deeply affected Carach’s family. His mother, retired police officer Sheena Carach, recounted her distress: “I thought I had just seen my child be killed. I ran to him and started praying.” The family’s connection to law enforcement underscores their desire for justice. The mother is a member of the National Police Defense Foundation, which is now posting a reward for Lopez Infante’s arrest.
Authorities say Lopez Infante entered the US in August 2023 and was ordered deported in September 2024 but never appeared for removal. He is now considered a fugitive. A Department of Homeland Security official criticized his presence in the US, stating he “should never have been in the country.”
While the family views the reward as vital, the incident highlights ongoing debates over border policies and immigration enforcement. The Carach family’s story, including Zack’s heroic brother Tyler, known as “Donut Boy” for delivering donuts to police stations nationwide, continues to resonate across the country.
