Luxurious Yachts Gather in Venice Ahead of a High-Profile Wedding

A collection of multimillion-dollar superyachts has arrived in Venice, signaling a grand celebration surrounding Jeff Bezos’ upcoming wedding to Lauren Sánchez.

The event has attracted notable billionaires and celebrities, with opulent vessels moored along the city’s waters as festivities commence over several days.

Among the most prominent yachts is Michael Jordan’s $115 million megayacht, M’ Brace, which was seen cruising near Venice. The vessel, acquired in 2018, is 244 feet long and features luxurious amenities including an observation deck, outdoor bar, swimming platform, outdoor shower, and a movie theater. Its interiors are designed by Reymond Langton Design, with a deck dedicated to wellness, including a hammam, sauna, cryotherapy chamber, massage studio, and fitness center.

Nearby, Shahid Khan’s $360 million yacht Kismet was anchored close by. Kismet spans over 400 feet and boasts features such as multiple decks accessible via a glass elevator, a penthouse suite, underwater dining room, and a five-star wellness area. Khan, a billionaire owner of the NFL’s Jacksonville Jaguars, was seen approaching Venice alongside other luxury vessels.

Additionally, J. Michael Evans, an Alibaba Group executive, arrived aboard the White Rose of Drachs, valued at around $80 million. This yacht is over 200 feet long and includes interiors by Donald Starkey, as well as facilities for an 18-person crew. Notably, Ivanka Trump and Diane von Furstenberg were spotted arriving in Venice, possibly using one of the many yachts at sea.

The technology billionaire Jeff Bezos owns a $500 million superyacht named Koru, which has yet to be seen in Venice but has been sailing nearby in recent weeks. Bezos and Sánchez celebrated Sánchez’s son’s 19th birthday with a foam party aboard the yacht in Croatia.

Bezos proposed to Sánchez on his yacht in 2023, presenting her with a 20-carat diamond ring valued at about $2.5 million. The couple is expected to tie the knot this week, with guest appearances from A-list celebrities including Oprah Winfrey, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Bill Gates, and Barbara Streisand.
