Teenager Critically Injured in Bronx Scooter Collision

An 18-year-old woman is in critical condition following a severe accident involving a scooter and two vehicles in the Bronx. The incident occurred early Saturday at around 4 a.m. on the Hutchinson River Parkway.

The scooter was struck by a Honda Pilot at exit 1C, causing the rider to be thrown from the bike. The crash triggered a chain reaction, with the Honda Pilot colliding with a Honda Accord nearby. The scooter passenger was ejected onto the road and severely injured.

Since the rider fled the scene before authorities arrived, police are searching for the motorbike’s driver. The injured passenger was reportedly found lying in the road and was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
