The owner of a luxury Hamptons concierge company has been accused of multiple thefts, including illegal food and household items. Jenene Ronick, 52, who operates the high-end firm Luxury Attache, was caught allegedly shoplifting from East Hampton’s Red Horse Market on June 10. Police state she concealed over $141 worth of seafood—wild salmon and fluke—and two deli sandwiches in her bag before leaving.
Jenene Ronick was accused of stealing seafood from the East Hampton market.
Afterward, she reportedly loaded her haul into her electric pickup truck—then returned to try to steal more, according to witnesses. Her attempts were thwarted when a worker saw her allegedly trying to snag a $100 steak. The employee noted she acted suspiciously, pretending to be on the phone while carrying a large shopping bag.
Police identified her based on her 2024 Ford F-150 electric truck and license plate. She was charged with petit larceny. Police reports indicate this isn’t her first incident: she reportedly stole eggs from a roadside stand multiple times last year and took household items from a CVS store in February. The store owners identified her after surveillance footage showed her repeatedly stealing without paying, often in her Porsche convertible.
She claimed the thefts were misunderstandings, including the seafood and CVS incidents, and did not intend to steal. When police arrived at her residence, her husband—an author and entrepreneur—paid the $30 owed for the eggs.
Ronick, who lives in a luxurious seven-bedroom estate, runs a concierge firm that offers high-end travel and lifestyle services, serving clients like Dior and Sotheby’s. Her company promotes bespoke hospitality and executive assistance, claiming to redefine luxury service. She is scheduled for arraignment on June 25 in connection with these allegations.
