Jason Isaacs Shocks Fans with Secret ‘White Lotus’ Salary—You Won’t Believe How Low It Was!
Paradise comes with surprisingly modest paychecks.
Jason Isaacs, star of “White Lotus,” revealed that all cast members earned just $40,000 per episode in Season 3, a salary well below typical for major network shows.
In an interview with Vulture, Isaacs explained, “Actors usually avoid discussing pay publicly because it’s disproportionate to what we do—costumes, voices—and it can upset fans.” He added, “But compared to standard TV salaries, it’s a very low number.”
He joked, “Honestly, we would have paid to be part of it—probably even given a body part.”
When asked about being paid equally to less experienced actors like Patrick Schwarzenegger, Isaacs admitted, “I don’t work for money.”
Isaacs added, “Despite the low pay, I’d have gladly paid to be in the series—probably even given a body part.”
He also shared that he’s not bitter about earning the same as less experienced actors like Schwarzenegger, stating, “I don’t feel bitter. We do this for the love of the craft.”
Details about the show’s pay structure were shared by producer David Bernad: “Everyone is paid equally, and we do alphabetical billing to ensure actors do it for the right reasons—not for money,” he said.
He explained, “This system started in Season 1 due to budget constraints.”
