Eric Dane BREAKS Down in First Interview Since ALS Diagnosis—You Won’t Believe What He Said!
Eric Dane broke down in tears during his first interview since revealing his diagnosis of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in April.
“Every morning, I am reminded this is real,” the actor shared in a teaser for “GMA”.
Journalist Diane Sawyer asked Dane, “Who was your first call?” He became visibly emotional before answering, lowering his head. His full interview airs Monday.
“I don’t believe this is the end of my story or myself,” Dane expressed during the interview.
He shared that he was diagnosed shortly after ending his marriage with Rebecca Gayheart in April, saying, “I am grateful for my family as we face this chapter.”
Despite his health challenges, Dane plans to return for Season 3 of HBO’s “Euphoria” as Cal Jacobs.
He recently appeared in Los Angeles following his announcement and is requesting privacy for himself and his children, Billie and Georgia, after his legal separation, which was initiated in 2018 but recently dismissed.
