Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry Confirm End of Their Relationship

Katy Perry being rumored to have been unfaithful to Orlando Bloom months before their breakup.

After nearly nine years together, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have officially parted ways. The couple, parents to four-year-old Daisy Dove Bloom, made a statement through their representatives confirming that they are no longer engaged, focusing instead on co-parenting their daughter.

Their reps explained that over recent months, Orlando and Katy have been gradually shifting their relationship to prioritize raising their child with love, stability, and mutual respect. Despite their separation, they will continue to appear together as a family.

The breakup had been rumored for some time, with public appearances together becoming scarce. Their last joint public event was in April during Katy’s space mission with Blue Origin. Recently, Orlando attended a wedding in Venice alone, while Katy was absent from a film premiere for Orlando’s movie “Deep Cover” at the Tribeca Film Festival. She also didn’t publicly acknowledge Father’s Day for Orlando on social media.

Recently, Katy hinted at heartbreak during a performance in Sydney, stating, “This song is about a breakup,” while performing “I’m Still Breathing” and thanking a package of Tim Tams, calling it her “saving grace.”

This isn’t the first time their relationship faced turbulent waters. Back in March 2017, they briefly separated less than a year after beginning their relationship, but reunited in 2018, making their red carpet debut at the Gala for the Global Ocean. By early 2019, they announced their engagement, with Katy sharing her ring and the phrase “Full bloom” on Instagram.

Although their romantic relationship has ended, both remain committed to co-parenting their daughter. Katy affectionately described Daisy as “such a blessing” during a September 2024 interview, emphasizing her gratitude and positive outlook on their shared journey.
