Orlando Bloom & Katy Perry Confirm: No More Fireworks in Their Relationship
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s Representatives Address Breakup

After nine years together, Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry have officially announced their breakup through their representatives. The couple, parents to four-year-old Daisy Dove Bloom, confirmed that they are no longer engaged and are focusing on co-parenting their daughter.
In a statement, their reps explained, “Due to recent public interest, we confirm that Orlando and Katy have been gradually shifting their relationship over the past several months to prioritize raising their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect.” They emphasized that the pair will continue to appear as a family, committed to their shared responsibilities.
Rumors of their separation had been circulating for months, with multiple outlets reporting in June that Katy and Orlando had gone their separate ways. Their last public appearance together was in April during Katy’s space journey with Blue Origin. Notably, Orlando attended a wedding in Venice solo, and Katy missed a film premiere of Orlando’s earlier this month. She also did not publicly acknowledge Father’s Day for Orlando on social media.

Katy Perry, who previously performed “I’m Still Breathing” in Sydney, subtly hinted at heartbreak during her performance, mentioning how a gift of Tim Tams helped her through tough times. The couple’s relationship has seen its ups and downs before. They first broke up in March 2017, just under a year after meeting at a Golden Globes party, but reunited in 2018 and got engaged in 2019.
Despite their separation, both artists remain committed to their roles as co-parents. Katy expressed gratitude for their shared daughter, Daisy, saying on a 2024 radio show, “She is such a blessing and our gift.”
