Brad Pitt Opens Up About His Sexuality and Personal Growth

In a recent interview, Brad Pitt candidly discussed his feelings about his sexuality, revealing he has never experienced being with a man. During his appearance on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard, he joked, “I’ve never had a gay experience,” adding, “I kind of missed that window, but if I did, it wouldn’t be you,” referring to host Dax Shepard.

Pitt, 61, humorously remarked that Shepard would only qualify as his “14th or 15th” experience in that realm. Reflecting on his past struggles, he shared that he was “pretty much on [his] knees” and recognized the need for change, leading him to attempt various approaches, including attending Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) meetings after his separation from Angelina Jolie. Though he didn’t specify when he first joined AA, Pitt previously mentioned attending shortly after their split in 2016.

He described the process as a way of pushing himself beyond his comfort zone: “It gives you permission to go, ‘OK, I’m gonna step out on this edge and see what happens.’ And then I really grew to love it.” Pitt also recalled feeling the need to ‘reboot’ during a difficult time in his life.

The actor’s personal life has been turbulent, especially following his divorce from Jolie, with whom he shares six children. Despite their separation, Pitt revealed he remains estranged from some of his kids, with a few even dropping his surname. The couple finalized their divorce last year after an eight-year legal battle.

Since then, Pitt has been dating Ines de Ramon, whom he started seeing in 2022. The couple was recently seen together walking the red carpet, signaling a new chapter in Pitt’s personal life.
