Justin Baldoni’s Shocking Legal Move Against Blake Lively Revealed!

Justin Baldoni Ends Lawsuit Against Blake Lively

Justin Baldoni has decided not to pursue amendments to his $400 million lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. Following a recent dismissal of his countersuit by Judge Lewis J. Liman, Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, stated they are now concentrating on defending against the claims.

“The court’s decision does not change the fact that there was no harassment or smear campaign,” Freedman emphasized. He also noted that they plan to explore additional legal options instead of simply revising existing claims.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Lively praised the court’s ruling, calling the lawsuit “frivolous” and asserting that the dismissal was a clear victory.

Background of the Legal Fight

Baldoni initiated his lawsuit in January after Lively accused him of sexual harassment during filming on “It Ends With Us.” Lively filed a complaint in December, prompting Baldoni to file a defamation suit against her, Reynolds, and their publicist.

In his ruling, Judge Liman made it clear that Baldoni’s claims were insufficient, specifically noting that Lively’s statements in her official complaint are privileged and not responsible for additional claims. Baldoni was given until June 23 to amend allegations related to breach of implied covenant and tortious interference with contract.

Freedman indicated they will pursue legal avenues beyond simply revising claims.

Latest Developments

Recently, Baldoni achieved a legal victory when the judge permitted him to access private texts between Lively and Taylor Swift regarding their work on the film. The court deemed these messages relevant to the case, and the judge stated they are appropriately tailored to disprove or prove allegations of harassment and retaliation.

In response to Lively’s legal actions against him, Baldoni remains confident that discovery will support his defense against what he describes as baseless accusations.
