Kevin Costner ‘Furious’ Over Profile—Dives Deep-Sea to Tackle the Issue

Kevin Costner Embarks on Deep-Sea Treasure Hunt Amid Career Troubles

After a recent expose, Oscar-winning actor Kevin Costner has reportedly taken up deep-sea diving in search of sunken treasure, aiming to boost his flailing career. According to sources, Costner has discovered gold coins and emeralds in the Caribbean and is now pitching a TV series focused on uncovering sunken shipwrecks worldwide.

Despite his adventurous pursuits, the actor faces financial difficulties, having recently mortgaged a $60 million oceanfront property in Santa Barbara to fund his ambitious “Horizon” film franchise. His latest release, Horizon: An American Saga — Chapter 1, underperformed at the box office, and there is no set date for the sequel’s release.

Costner has a history of maritime exploration, once planning to partner with underwater archaeologist Alex Mirabal on a shipwreck exploration business. The pair previously toured nautical archives in Havana, Cuba, featuring artifacts from the late 19th-century shipwrecks.

Recently, he attracted controversy on the set of Yellowstone, where reports claim he became involved in a heated physical altercation with co-star Wes Bentley, causing distress to fellow actress Kelly Reilly. Although officials confirmed a “work-related argument” during an emotionally taxing scene, the incident was reportedly resolved quickly. Costner’s representatives declined to comment further.
