Max Ehrich Arrested for Domestic Violence
Actor Max Ehrich Arrested in Florida Amid Domestic Violence Allegations
Max Ehruch, the former fiancé of Demi Lovato, has been detained in Florida following allegations of domestic violence involving a family member. Law enforcement sources reported that Ehruch was taken into custody on Tuesday night for battery against a person aged 65 or older. He was released after posting a $1,000 bond.
Sources suggest the incident involved a family member, though details remain unclear. Ehruch publicly shared multiple social media posts during the day, including screenshots from his phone with messages indicating he is single and expressing heartbreak. Some posts hinted at a mental state post-filming, with Ehruch mentioning he was “mostly out of character” from his recent movie project, Reckless.
Prior to the arrest, Ehruch’s social media activity included a series of cryptic messages repeating hashtags like “#FreeDemi” and “#FreeDemetria,” implying concern for Lovato amidst their breakup in September 2020. The pair was first linked romantically in 2020, and their engagement was announced in July of that year, with Lovato expressing she was “honored” to accept his proposal.
Following their split, Ehruch shared some sentimental posts about his feelings for Lovato, but the relationship ended less than three months later. Ehruch later moved on and married musician Jutes in a romantic wedding ceremony in California in May.
