Stefon Diggs, the boyfriend of Cardi B, was sued by his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez, over allegations of assault and attempts to silence her. Hernandez, known from her appearance on “Basketball Wives Orlando,” filed a countersuit after Diggs initially accused her of assault in February. Hernandez denies these claims, asserting that Diggs was the one who was physically aggressive during their brief relationship in 2024.
The lawsuit details that Hernandez alleges Diggs attacked her from behind, punching her in the back of the head and causing a concussion. She also claims Diggs sought to coerce her into signing a non-disclosure agreement to prevent the incident from becoming public or reaching the NFL. Hernandez states that Diggs acted frantically, sending his assistant to persuade her to sign the NDA, which she refused. Hernandez is seeking damages between $250,000 and $1 million for physical and mental suffering, including medical expenses.
In her filings, Hernandez describes an incident in June 2024 where Diggs allegedly punched her in the head. She claims that Diggs later went to the doctor suffering from nausea and that his lawyer falsely alleged she was pregnant with his child at the time of the assault. Hernandez and her lawyer reportedly attempted to extort millions of dollars from Diggs with their claims, but he maintains his innocence, denying any wrongdoing.
Diggs had previously sued Hernandez and a third party, Brianna Mack, accusing them of assault, emotional distress, trespass, conspiracy, and extortion. He recounts an incident where Hernandez, intoxicated, was aggressive and damaged his property after a night of partying. Diggs claims Hernandez slipped and fell on a wet floor but denies fighting back. Reps for Diggs did not comment immediately.
Hernandez, at the time of her allegations, was pregnant with Diggs’ child and was living with him. She has requested compensation for damages, citing the incident’s impact on her health and well-being. Diggs, who publicly announced his relationship with Cardi B in May, is also facing a paternity suit from another woman and is expecting his first child with Cardi amid her ongoing divorce from Offset, with whom she shares three children.
