Stefon Diggs, NFL wide receiver and Cardi B’s boyfriend, was sued by his ex-girlfriend, Mulan Hernandez, who accused him of assault and efforts to silence her. Hernandez filed a countersuit in April, denying Diggs’ claims of assault made in a separate February lawsuit, and stated that he was the aggressor during their brief 2024 relationship.
Hernandez, a reality TV personality, claimed that Diggs attacked her from behind on June 7, 2024, hitting her head and resulting in a concussion. She further alleged that Diggs sought to have her sign a non-disclosure agreement to prevent her from revealing the incident to the NFL or public, even dispatching his assistant to Houston to pressure her.
The lawsuit also details an incident in June 2024 where Hernandez asserts Diggs punched her in the head and that she was left with a concussion. Hernandez accused Diggs of acting frantically and noted he tried to have her sign an NDA, which she apparently did not agree to. She is seeking damages between $250,000 and $1 million for physical and emotional pain, as well as medical expenses.
Diggs initially sued Hernandez and a third party, Brianna Mack, for assault and other charges, claiming Hernandez attacked him after a night of partying, damaging personal property and threatening him, with Mack present. He asserted that Hernandez slipped on a wet floor and denied fighting back, while she later claimed he was frantically aggressive and that she sought medical treatment that night.
In his countersuit, Diggs claimed Hernandez falsely accused him of hitting her in June 2024 and alleged she went to the doctor on June 14, claiming she was hit in the head with a fist. He also accused her lawyer of claiming she was pregnant with his child, which he denies. The lawsuit accuses Hernandez and Mack of attempting to extort millions from him and seeks damages for their alleged misconduct.
Reps for Diggs have not commented publicly. The lawsuit highlights ongoing legal disputes between the former couple over accusations, allegations, and financial demands.
