Kevin De Bruyne Praises Ronaldo as the “Nicest Legend in the Game” During holiday with Liverpool Player in France

Kevin De Bruyne, the former Manchester City captain now playing for Napoli, recently met legendary Brazilian striker Ronaldo while on vacation in Cannes. De Bruyne, 33, is currently enjoying a break following an intense final season with City, alongside Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk.

The trio encountered Ronaldo, 48, at the La Guerite restaurant in Cannes. De Bruyne shared a photo of the football icons together on Instagram, captioning it, “Nicest legend in the game,” accompanied by a heart emoji.

Ronaldo, a 2002 World Cup winner with Brazil, attended the Patrick Mouratoglou Charity Gala in France. The event was notable as Ronaldo has a strong bond with Mouratoglou, Serena Williams’ former coach, who also assisted him in tennis after his football career.

Despite intense rivalry on the pitch between Manchester City and Liverpool over the past years, De Bruyne and Van Dijk have maintained their friendship, often holidaying together. Van Dijk previously praised De Bruyne’s abilities, highlighting what a fantastic player he is, with qualities like excellent ball control, pressing, and scoring.

In an interview, Van Dijk expressed his admiration, saying he would love to have De Bruyne at Liverpool, believing he could elevate the team further. De Bruyne has also spoken positively about Van Dijk’s skills, describing him as a complete player with leadership qualities, foot versatility, and physical presence.
